Flexco recently announced the addition of the Roller Conveyor Scraper Tool (RCST) to its line of belt protection solutions. The RCST is a purpose-built tool designed to remove adhesive and sticker buildup from roller conveyors quickly and efficiently, helping facilities prevent the slowdowns and package jams that accumulated buildup can cause. "Sticker buildup is one of those maintenance headaches that sneaks up on operators," said Ryan Jackson, Flexco Product Manager. "The Roller Conveyor Scraper Tool cleans rollers faster than anything else on the market. Its curved blade profile matches the curve of a roller, so operators remove more buildup in a single pass than flat scrapers or traditional methods can manage in several. That speed matters because labels and adhesive residues build up over time, gumming up rollers until they slow down or stop turning altogether. When a roller stops, packages get stuck, and the ripple effect can bring an entire conveyor line to a halt. Traditional methods take hours and risk damaging the rollers, so a faster, gentler option helps maintenance teams stay ahead of the problem."

The RCST features a contoured blade engineered for 1.9" diameter rollers, with enough flexibility to fit rollers up to 2" nominal for maximum contact and scraping efficiency. Blades are replaceable, allowing for extended tool life and consistent performance. For added convenience, the RC Scraper mounts to the end of a standard paint roller extension pole via a common thread pattern, giving operators the reach they need to access rollers across wide conveyor sections without excessive bending, climbing, or other strenuous ergonomic challenges. The RCST is ideal for use in parcel handling, logistics, warehousing and distribution, and e-commerce fulfillment operations where labeled packages and adhesive residue create ongoing maintenance challenges.
