The Chicago Tribune has named Flexco one of the Chicago-area's Top Workplaces for 2025. The Top Workplaces program honors organizations that excel at creating meaningful work environments where employees feel valued, supported, and empowered. The recognition is based solely on employee feedback collected through surveys conducted by Energage, a workplace survey and improvement specialist based in Exton, Pennsylvania.   

The 2025 winning companies were assessed through a 26-question employee survey that evaluated key measures including pay and benefits, company direction, leadership, meaningfulness of work, and employee appreciation. Companies earn the Top Workplaces recognition when their aggregated employee feedback scores exceed national benchmarks established by Energage based on feedback from approximately 30 million employees over the past 19 years.  

The Chicago Tribune also conducted an on-site visit with Flexco to talk with employees about their experiences and get a firsthand look at the company's operations and culture. During the visit, the Tribune highlighted several distinctive aspects of Flexco's workplace, including the company's decision-making hierarchy that prioritizes safety first, quality second, delivery third, and cost last; a principle that resonates strongly with employees.  

In an interview with Tom Wujek, Flexco President and Chief Executive Officer, he emphasized that what makes Flexco unique is "the people, the shared purpose that we have, [and] the shared culture that we continue to work on every day." The Tribune's profile also captured perspectives from Flexco team members across various roles and experience levels, underscoring the company's five core values: people first, better together, customer centered, forward thinking, and committed to excellence.
